The Freshwater Theatre Company
This week, the children in Year 2 took part in an exciting workshop about The Great
Fire of London. The Freshwater Theatre Company visited Riverbridge to support Year 2
with their history learning. The children experienced what life was like in London in
1666. They also became the fire as it grew and spread, using brightly coloured
streamers. Finally, they met the Mayor of London to discuss the rebuilding of the
city. We would like to say a big thank you to the PTA who funded the experience for
the children.
Blythe F: “I loved it when we acted like the flames in the fire.”
Tina A: “I liked it when we dressed up as different characters!”
