Battle of the Books
On Tuesday 9th February, some children from Year 2 enjoyed a morning with children from other Spelthorne schools taking part in a competition 'Battle of the Books'
Nandika from Kingfishers class has written a few words about their morning......
''We went to Laleham School to take part in the 'Battle of the Books' event. We had to answer many questions about the books we read in the first session. Then we had a short break. In the second session, we used our imagination to make a fun hat linked to the book 'Millie's Marvellous Hat'. It was a bug birthday cake with lots of decorations and 4 candles. Everybody enjoyed the event very much!''
